Update
Track Restored to Service
Train #303 (Departs Union Station at 3:35p) is should be on the move shortly and is currently about 35 minutes late. Train #305 (Departs Union Station at 4:05p) is expected to incur delays of only 10 minutes. No further delays are expected.

Delays Due to Earlier Issues
As a result of this morning's accident, only one track is available for service this afternoon. The track that we normally use is being cleaned up by HAZMAT crews.
Unfortunately, this has caused quite a bit of congestion. VRE train #303 (Departs Union Station at 3:35p) is waiting for 4 northbound trains. The first of which should be passing train 303 shortly.
At this time, we are expecting train 303 to be delayed at least 45 minutes, if not closer to an hour. Train 305 will be delayed 30-45 minutes.
We will continue to keep you updated as needed.
