1) Meet the Management, Tomorrow at Union Station
Meet the Management begins tomorrow, Wednesday April 1st, during evening service at Union Station.
What is "Meet the Management"?
Meet the Management is our opportunity to show our appreciation for our customers. Beginning April 1st, VRE management and staff will visit a different station every week with the goal of meeting as many of our riders as possible to hear any questions, complaints or comments you may have. This week's Meet the Management will feature our Director of Rail Equipment and Services and staff from our Construction and Facilities, Communications and Accounting departments as well as management from Amtrak.
What if you have no questions, complaints or comments? Well, feel free to stop by anyway just to say hi. We'll have cookies and soda waiting and it'll be the perfect opportunity to grab a free plastic ticket holder.
For a full schedule of all Meet the Management events please visit our website at www.vre.org/feedback/mtm.htm.
Or, visit our page on Facebook at www.facebook.com/pages/Virginia-Railway-Express/53836370185.
2) On-Line Forum, Tomorrow at Noon
Don't board a train at Union Station, but still want to chat with Management? Try our On-Line Forum, where VRE's CEO, Dale Zehner, answers your questions directly from Noon until 1pm.
There are lots of things going on right now, from mechanical problems and upcoming fare increases to brand new locomotives, platform extensions and the possibility of additional service.
So here is your chance to discover, what's going on here at VRE.
To participate, please visit www.vre.org/chatterbox, and click on the “ask” button to submit a question. If you cannot join us live, you can submit your question early and check back later to see if it was answered. Transcripts are also available after the fact on our Web site at www.vre.org/feedback/forums/archives.htm.
3) Rail-Time Fixed!
Last week our Rail-Time Interactive Map was experiencing intermittent problems and not always showing where our trains were. We're happy to say that the problem has been corrected and our trains are now tracking once again.
